History of Mas de l'Isle
Vacation Rentals in Provence
A vibrant place, shaped by human hands, the earth… and time.
Behind every stone, every tree, every detail… there is a story. The story of an early 20th-century Provençal farmhouse in Bédarrides, nestled between Mont Ventoux and Avignon. A humble place, where nature is ever-present. A place that has never stopped breathing.

A country farmhouse steeped in history
The MAS de L’isle was long owned by a family of passionate nursery owners. They were the ones who planted the century-old plane trees that now provide shade. The two ponds still bear witness to that era. One of them is now a family swimming pool.

A place that was abandoned… then brought back to life with love
Over time, the estate fell into disuse. But in 2009, it was given a new lease on life: a fresh start, horses, pigs, chickens, and the opening of the first guesthouses.
In 2023, our family settled here. We brought our children, our cats, and a desire to breathe new life into this place without losing its essence. Little by little, we’ve revitalized this 15,000-square-meter property: we’ve tended to the trees, built a bocce court, set up outdoor beds, installed soft lighting, and added vintage touches to preserve the farmhouse’s character.

Today, this place is ready to welcome you
But here, nothing is set in stone. The farmhouse continues to live in tune with the seasons, with laughter, with footsteps on the gravel, and with silence as well. You’re not just visiting a scenic spot… You’re at our home, in Provence, in a place where the past and the present coexist in harmony.
Discover relaxing spots and outdoor games like pétanque, darts, and ping-pong…
Here, everything is real. Nothing is perfect.
And that’s what makes this place so vibrant.
Nature, in all its simplicity
Here in Provence, the countryside is very much a part of your stay: the song of cicadas, the peace and quiet... and sometimes a few small creatures. Insects, ants, and free-roaming cats... are all part of life in the great outdoors. Our farmhouse is surrounded by fields of chickpeas, sunflowers, melons, and many other crops depending on the season. If you’re looking for a 100% sterile environment, our cottage might not be for you. But if you love authenticity, nature, and the real thing, then welcome to our home!
